Remained the bitterest taste
The anger, the waste
And memories covered in shame

Now she no longer smiles
He is leaving today
And she's left alone once again

You see no one but you"
But she didn't know any better

She wasn't able to tell
Between loss and betrayal
That her life was derailed by her anger

And through blood, sweat and tears
She was ready and fierce
To defend all the walls she had built

Only to realise

The biggest loss was her light

She was able to find
The truth that was lying within her

Then she bloomed like a flower
As she gave up the power
To be saved in the toughest of hours

Then she learned how to give
And relearned how to live
All that's left is to finally forgive
